George Duff, Senior Advisor George Duff is Senior Advisor to the Seattle Christian Foundation. He is an Executive Coach to several ministry organizations and is Senior Advisor to the Christian Leadership Alliance. George is President Emeritus of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, having served from 1968 to 1995. George graduated from Wayne State University and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Academy of Organization Management; he also received an honorary Phd from SPU. He is a past Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives and is a member of the Board of Governors of Virginia Mason Medical Center. George also serves on the boards of numerous civic and community organizations. He is past President of the Seattle Rotary Club and is the recipient of the World Citizens Award, given by the World Affairs Council and the Regional Citizen Award of The Municipal League. George and his wife, Marilyn, live on Mercer Island. Mark Canlis, Advisor
Mark grew up in a restaurant family, spending his time, as most do, living and learning the trade from the inside out. By the time he officially joined the company in 2003, he’d earned a degree from Cornell University, served as a Captain in Air Force Special Operations, and worked in nine restaurants across the country. He met his wife, Anne Marie, while living in Manhattan and working with famed restaurateur Danny Meyer. Returning to Seattle after two years in New York City, Mark eagerly stepped into a world rich with family history, Seattle heritage and exciting opportunities for the future of the family business. His return to the company spawned a revolution at Canlis in setting the national standard for guest dining experience. In addition to Seattle Christian Foundation, Mark serves on the Board of the Cornell/CIA Alliance. He resides in Seattle with his wife and two children. April Chapman, Advisor
April Chapman has worked in the technology industry for twenty years including five years at Microsoft, managing teams responsible for early MSN Internet properties and orchestrating relationships with key partners. Prior to her work at Microsoft, April taught nationally on various software technologies and developed groundbreaking software products in areas as diverse as remotely piloted aircraft and manufacturing control systems. Recognizing the need that many non-profits have for sound technical expertise, April left Microsoft in 2000 and founded a consulting firm to provide technology and strategy services to local, national and international non-profit organizations. April holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. She is happily married to Craig, and they are the proud parents of boy/girl twins. April is currently Chairman of the Board for Stronger Families, and she loves the challenge of balancing home life with public and community service. Craig Chapman, Advisor Craig Chapman is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of INRIX. Chapman is an accomplished development engineer and architect with 30 years experience developing advanced software systems and managing teams of software and hardware engineers. Prior to INRIX, Chapman was an executive at Microsoft serving as the Development Manager for the Automotive Business Unit, the Technical Lead in the Consumer Productivity Business Unit, and a Principal Consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services. Prior to joining Microsoft, Chapman was a Director of Software Development at Span Instruments, a Principal Engineer at AST Computers, an Adjunct Instructor at Orange Coast Community College, a Principal Engineer for Basic Four Information Systems and a Senior Systems Analyst for Burroughs Corporation. He holds a B.A. in mathematics from Occidental. Craig and his wife, April, (“the most terrific wife in the whole world”), are members of Overlake Christian Church. Craig and April serve on the Board of Directors of Stronger Families (formerly Families Northwest) and teach pre-marriage classes and serve on the Married Life leadership team at OCC. Roger Eigsti, AdvisorRoger Eigsti is the former Chairman, CEO and President of Safeco Corporation where he led the growth of SAFECO into a national player in the insurance and financial services marketplace. He is currently a director of Gladiator Technologies, Inc., Inrix, Inc., SighLife, Inc. and Institute of Business, Technology and Ethics. Roger has served on many for-profit, industry and non-profit boards including Washington Mutual, Security Pacific Bank of Washington, United Way of King County, Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, The Seattle Foundation, Corporate Council for the Arts, Seattle Pacific University and University of Washington School of Business. In 1997 Roger was the recipient of the YMCA AK Guy Award for volunteerism in the community and in 1998 was the recipient of the Puget Sound Business Journal Executive of the year. Roger and his wife, Mary Lou, attend Westminster Chapel in Bellevue where Roger has served as elder and board moderator several terms. They have two children and five grandchildren. Bob Nuber, AdvisorBob Nuber, CPA, CMC, is Chairman Emeritus of Clark Nuber P.S., a Bellevue-based CPA and consulting firm. Over the course of his career Bob has advised clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, real estate investment, insurance underwriting and agencies, home construction, food retail and retirement living. As Chairman Emeritus, Bob now works part-time serving on the boards and advisory boards of five for-profit businesses and consults in the areas of succession planning, governance, and strategy. Bob has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA degree from the University of Washington. He currently serves on the board of Pinnacle Forum America, Northwest Chapter. He has served on the boards of Stronger Families, Seattle Pacific University, Bellevue Art Museum, Bellevue Rotary and University of Washington Accounting Development Fund. Bob and his wife, Judy, live in Seattle and attend West Side Presbyterian church. When he’s not working Bob enjoys time on the golf course, time with his family, and traveling. Ted Robinson, Advisor
Ted Robinson currently serves as the Development Officer for the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture (CSC). CSC is the worldwide intellectual home for the Intelligent Design movement. Prior to accepting an invitation to join CSC, Ted was Managing Partner at Cleveland Street Mortgage for 11 years. He also spent 15 years in the corporate arena selling services and software to the financial industry. After living overseas for more than a decade in the 70's and 80's he returned to the USA and received his BA from Washington State University in Business Management. Ted currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for The Bear Creek School. He is also active in supporting the work of the Everett Gospel Mission, The Liberty Road Foundation, and Rotary Club of Redmond. Ted and his wife Kimberly have been married for over 25 years and have two wonderful daughters. They attend Crossroads Bible Church and serve in the Greet Ministry. Heather Tuininga, Advisor
As Executive Director of the Luke 12:48 Foundation, Heather has been helping guide the foundations’ strategic direction and philanthropic giving since its inception in 2007. Heather has a passion for helping people and organizations be good stewards of their resources and has been doing that for over a decade in her current role and through positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Washington State House of Representatives. In addition to her professional life, Heather carries out her passion for good stewardship and generosity by serving in a financial coaching ministry at her church, teaching seminars on giving and healthy finances, and providing counsel to families who are exploring strategic, impactful philanthropy. Heather holds a masters degree in Public Policy from Duke University and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Central Washington University where she was a Presidential Scholar. Heather and her husband, Eric, live in Seattle, Washington.
Bob Wolfe, Advisor
Bob Wolfe is an experienced private investor with a 30 year career that spans finance, operations and technology management. For the past six years, Bob was a partner at Northwest Venture Associates. Previously, Bob was president and chief operating officer of Toronto-based GT Group Telecom, then Canada's largest independent telecommunications provider. Before GT Group Telecom, Bob was chief financial officer of Trillium Corporation, a private international investment company. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years at Goldman Sachs. Bob has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Washington State University and a master's degree in business administration from Pacific Lutheran University. He serves on numerous boards and is Vice Chariman of the National Board of Advisors for the College of Business at Washington State University and on the advisory board of the College of Business at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in Sichuan, China. He is currently a director of Asian Coast Development, Darigold Inc., Montgomery & Co., TangoWire, Vigilos and Washington Bancorp. Bob and Carolyn Wolfe have been married 25 years and have three grown sons.
